Indescribable moments

Around 6am this morning, I realized that I needed to wake Reagan up so that we could get our day started. There were so many more things to do: change diaper, put new clothes on, play a bit, get coffee, get in van, etc. When I walked into her room, she still had her eyes closed but I had a feeling she was not really in a deep sleep. I leaned into her crib and said "wake up baby girl, I love you" in a soft mommy-like voice. What happened next melted my heart. With her eyes still closed, she smiled and kicked her legs in excitement. She then opened her eyes slowly and gave me the most beautiful toothless grin I've ever seen! That is one of those moments that I will remember for the rest of my life. Even when she is married with her own family, I will remember that precious moment. It was so special that I had to share!
